Events
We offer a variety of events and courses. Our aim is to encourage the local community to take part in outdoor activties and learn about local food production. We also offer a variety of courses for anyone who would like to learn skills. A list of our up and coming events and courses is below:
Saturday 4th February Community Orchard Upkeep: Come and look after the local Apple Orchard, a fun day out for all the family and reap the rewards with fresh apples for all in October. Enjoy the fresh air, get fit and prune the local apple trees. 1 mile out of Hatherleigh bring pruning tools if you have them. 2pm onwards. Contact Richard for more information 078900 81914. Willow weaving; Health and safety, harvesting and preparing willow .Working with willow, weaving a basket base and making willow obelisks. Cost £25 10am - 3pm, lunch included. Saturday 24th March
Lambing & sheep husbandry; Animal health and well being, how to handle your Sheep. Care of ewebefore lambing,Lambing procedure, Care of new born, aftercare of ewe and lamb. Cost £25 10 am—3pm, lunch included.
Monday 9th April
Easter Craft and Egg Hunt; Make a Spring planter, create Easter crafts, go on a treasure hunt and collect chocolate eggs. Cost £3.50 per child, 11– 2pm. Lunch included To book on courses or for more info; 07826 935935
