In 2010 Made-Well, a not for profit community Interest company was amongst the successful applicants to receive funding from the Lottery Local Food programme. This has enabled us to create a dedicated horticulture site along with training facilities and kitchen, a shop and a cafe. As a result local people gain a better understanding and appreciation of food, healthy lifestyles and opportunities to purchase affordable home grown food.

Wear It Pink
On Friday the 21st of October Made-Well will be raising money for cancer research by taking part in Wear It Pink. Every year, wear it pink raises around £2 million during 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the UK's largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now. How? It's simple-people are asked to wear something pink and donate whatever they can. The money is used to fund world class breast cancer researchers across the U.K and Ireland.
Great reasons to wear it pink! Have fun with your family, friends and colleagues, it's an easy way to raise money to fund cutting edge research and you can help us ensure no one dies from breast cancer by 2050.
Made-Well will be running a cake sale amongst other things on the day to help raise funds for this fantastic cause!
Santa is coming to Made-Well
Santa is coming to Made-Well and he's bringing his reindeer! As well as meeting Santa you will have the opportunity to pet and feed two real reindeer at this event. What can make Christmas more magical then meeting Santa and his reindeers?
