We are an inclusive organisation with an ethos of actively encouraging full participation irrespective of age, background, qualifications, training or ability.
We support people to enjoy, experience and learn about horticulture, cookery, animal care, willow craft, therapeutic arts and countryside management.
Our Core Objectives
- To provide day opportunities to enjoy and experience
- To provide life skills training
- To provide individual support
- To develop personalised, outcome led plan
- To offer accredited training
In 2010 Made-Well, a not for profit community Interest company was amongst the successful applicants to receive funding from the Lottery Local Food programme. This has enabled us to create a dedicated horticulture site along with training facilities and kitchen, a shop and a cafe. As a result local people gain a better understanding and appreciation of food, healthy lifestyles and opportunities to purchase affordable home grown food.
